MyWalkup is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and safeguarded when using the MyWalkup mobile application and related services, including SMS messaging.
Account Information

Team and Player Data

Usage Data

SMS Messaging Terms
By opting in to MyWalkup SMS messaging, you agree to the following:
- Message Types: MyWalkup sends transactional SMS messages including authentication codes, account access notifications, team invitation alerts, and security notifications.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your account activity (e.g., login attempts, team invitations, security events). MyWalkup does not send marketing or promotional messages.
- Opt-In: You may opt in to receive SMS messages by enabling messaging in your MyWalkup account settings, or by providing your phone number when accepting an in-person invitation from a team administrator.
- Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from MyWalkup. You may also disable SMS notifications in your account settings within the app. Upon opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
- Help: Reply HELP to any MyWalkup message for support information, or contact us at admin@mywalkup.ai.
- Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- No Sharing for Marketing: Your phone number and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Third-Party Services
- Firebase (Google) – Analytics, crash reports, and push notifications
- RevenueCat – Manages in-app subscriptions
- Apple – Processes in-app purchases through App Store
- Google – Processes in-app purchases through App Store
- Twilio – Provides SMS messaging infrastructure for transactional notifications and authentication
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Third-party service providers listed above receive only the data necessary to perform their specific functions on our behalf.
Data Storage and Security
Data is stored securely with appropriate technical and organizational measures protecting against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Phone numbers and messaging records are stored in encrypted form and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Data Retention
Personal information is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide services. SMS consent records and opt-in/opt-out preferences are retained for compliance purposes. You can request account and data deletion anytime through app settings or by contacting admin@mywalkup.ai.
